Limbs – Past and Present

At different times, all of the towns and villages listed in the right-hand column below have been limbs or members of the Cinque Ports. Today only those shown in bold type are members of the Confederation. Those listed in italics have either ceased to exist due to coastal erosion; been subsumed within larger towns or communities, or they have been deprived of their status as members by changes to the structure of local government, over the years.
